UNMISS field officer congratulates the two warring parties for coming together and discussing issue of recovery and resilience.

Sam Mamur says instead of always discussing about the clashes between the I.O and government, the parties came together to talk on developmental issues, Voice of Hope Radio reports.

He describes the joint meeting as a testimony and a great effort that has been done by the two parties.

Mamur points out that Wau State is the central heart of Bahr El-Ghazal region and if it suffers then other Bahr El Ghazal states will not be stable.

UNMISS Officer Sam Mamur urges the warring parties to implement the revitalized peace agreement to improve the living standard of the people of Bahr el Ghazal.
