SPLM-N does not acknowledge the Sudan’s military transitional council headed by Abdul Fattah Al Burhani.
The Acting Regional Secretary Ibrahim Maki told Voice of Peace Radio that the transition council is from the National Congress Party military leaders and nothing has been changed.
He argues that the power should be handed over to civil authority to determine the future of Sudan based on democracy.
The Acting Secretary calls on the Sudanese in Khartoum who are still holding sit-in in front of the military headquarters and other states to continue protesting for their rights.
He expresses their solidarity with Sudanese youth and professionals who are demanding for freedom and change in the country.
Maki appeals to international community to pressure transitional military council to transfer the power to civil authority.
