The Apostolic Administrator of Wau Catholic Diocese expects from the two leaders to fully implement the revitalized peace agreement as they meet Pope Francis in Vatican City.

Fr Marko Mungu expects the leaders to bring lasting peace to citizens of South Sudan after this retreat in Rome.

He urges all Christians to help the leaders in implementing the deal and pray for real lasting peace in South Sudan.

Father Marko Mungu also urges all citizens of Wau and South Sudan at large to preach peace and support their leaders in implementing the revitalized accord.

The Apostolic Administrator appeals to all leaders to open up real dialogues and bring lasting peace to the people of South Sudan after years of conflicts.

Fr Mungu stresses that peace is the only tool that can resolve all the burning issues like economic hardship, lack of good roads, hospitals and other basic services that the citizens are not getting now.
