UN and India should provide rape policy report on South Sudan, says minister

The Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare demands United Nations and the government of India to provide a report that states about the rape policy that is licensed to the army by the government.
 
Awut Deng Achuil, says the government does not have any law that support sexual violence as a policy.
 
She condemns a report from one of the Indian media outlets published in March 2019.
 
The minister asks the officials to investigate about the accuracy of the report.
 
Ambassador Sitona Abdalla Osman, advises that the government should take the reporter to court and investigate about the UN report which is an allegation and insult.
 
She adds that Ambassador of India should be called and showcases the report done by the Indian media outlet.
 
The officials were speaking during a meeting on Wednesday organized by the Ministry of Gender on the allegation report by Indian media house in March this year.
