Children must go to school in Western Lakes State, minister appeals

National Minister of General Education urges people of Western Lakes to send their children to school specially girls.
 
During handing over ceremony of 26 concrete buildings, 36 pit latrines and four fences constructed by Save the Children International in Rumbek, Deng Deng Hoc says the attendance of girls in different schools is low compare to boys.
 
He notes that girl child education is not encouraged in most states of South Sudan because of cows prioritize by some parents.
 
The minister says both boys and girls are children and should be given equal opportunities in learning.
 
Deng stresses that education is the only way to bring development to the young nation.
 
He promises people that his ministry will work hard to let everyone access education in the country.
 
Young people should be problem solvers and have better skills for living, the minister notes.
 
The inter-communal conflict in Western Lakes affected education of young people in the state.
