Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan told citizens of Kidepo Valley County in Torit State to be self reliant before the government delivers services.
Dr James Wani Igga was responding to the residents’ cry for schools, food and water.
He adds the conflict has dragged the country’s economy down making service delivery hard.
The Vice President adds that there is need for leaders to sensitize communities on how to be self-reliant because the government cannot provide everything to its citizens.
Meanwhile, the state Governor Tobiolo Alberio says majority of people across the country are in dire need of social services.
He urges the residents to cooperate with the government.
The Vice President was speaking during a rally in Chahari Payam earlier this week.
