The South Sudan People Defence Force and SPLM-IO commanders are telling the Internally Displaced Persons in Rimenze to return home.

SSPDF Commander Jordan Oting requests all IDPs to return home and take on agriculture before the onset of the rainy season.

Oting explains that the army ordered all forces to return their guns to the store.

He adds that it is forbidden for any soldier to move with a gun on the street.

Meanwhile James Nando SPLM-IO commander reassured the IDPs that disarmament has started to pave way for the implementation of the peace agreement.

The IO commander revealed that the roads such as Ri-Rangu, under their control, have been opened for humanitarian assistance.

He adds that the local population has received agricultural tools and seeds for cultivation.

Both commanders mentioned a peaceful coexistence between their forces in Gbudue state.
