The Governor of Tonj State says the government is still searching for the perpetrators who burnt one of the Don Bosco girls’ boarding schools.
The Minister of Gender Child and Social Welfare in Tonj State on Friday confirmed that fire broke out on Thursday night killing three girls in their dormitory.
In a statement to Good News Radio, Governor Mathew Mathiang Magordit adds that investigation is still going on to find out the cause of the fire incident.
He appeals to the religious people not to panic.
Governor Magordit adds that the security situation in the state is calm as parents of the victims wait for justice.
He reiterated that the government will handle the matter.
Meanwhile, Diocesan Coordinator Fr John Mathiang urges the state government to dig out the truth and search for the suspects to explain why they killed innocent children.
Monsignor Mathiang appeals to the public to help the government to search the culprits.
