The Pope has appointed Apostolic Nuncio to South Sudan shortly after the visit of President Salva Kiir to Vatican last Friday, announces President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of the Sudan and South Sudan.
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala appreciates Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher for laying a corner stone for Justice and Peace studies Institute in the catholic University of South Sudan.
The President of the Conference says Archbishop Richard is the first Vatican diplomat to see the university.
Bishop Hiiboro made the announcement during the laying of foundation stone of Justice and Peace Studies Institute of the Catholic University of South Sudan in Juba on Friday.
Archbishop Charles Daniel Balvo was the Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya and South Sudan now is he is in Czech Republic.
