Governor says security situation calm in Tonj

The Governor of Tonj State has assured citizens that the security situation in the State is calm except the recent communal conflict that occurred between cattle keepers and farmers.
 
Major General Mathew Mathiang Magoordit says two states has deployed organized forces to rescue situation in the border of Tonj state and Kuajiena County of Wau state, Don Bosco Radio Reports.
 
Mathiang points out that the presence of different organized forces on the ground have normalized the situation and the government is working in cooperation to unite the citizens.
 
He adds that he had instructed his counterparts to tell the cattle keepers to drives back the heads of cattle rather than moving ahead.
