The Commissioner of Refugee Affairs in Yei River State reports that one thousand six hundred eighty-eight returnees and refugees are settling in buildings of Nyori refugee camp in Lasu Payam.

Julius Taban mentions that some people are sheltering under tress because the population is too big for the available facility to accommodate, Radio Easter reports.

The commissioner explains that the returnees emphasized for extra security because they came home due to the relative calm in Lasu Payam and the state at large.

Taban request the humanitarian organization to support the returnees who voluntarily returned to the country.
