The Intellectuals and local Chiefs of Manyang-Ngok County Tonj State on Saturday agreed to move Manyang-Ngok County from its position to Manyiel area peacefully.
According to Don Bosco radio, Alfred Mawien Akol the Chairperson explains that majority of their members have agreed to rearrange the county to Manyiel without changing its original name.
Akol said the reason for changing the area is due to the insecurity from their neighbors and sometimes other insects like bees also attack them.
Augustino Akoch Agoth Director-General of Local Government has approved the reposition of the county in Manyiel area for the people living there to get access to basic needs from the town like hospital and schools.
Crillio Chol Akook appreciates the governor of the state and explains that buildings within Manyang-Ngok will be left for the organize forces like police and the new settlement will be the headquarter for the commissioner to stay.
He appreciates the intellectual and local chiefs who attended the meeting and accepted the proposal of the relocation of the county.
The speakers gave their remarks on Saturday during the intellectual meeting with the local chiefs in Tonj.
