The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio and president of South Sudan Bishops conference, or SSBC is calling on Christians to strengthen their relationship with God.
Bishop Edward Hiboro Kusala says reinforcing relationship with God is a source of positive change and approach to human life.
Rv. Hiboro encourages citizens to resolve their past grievances in a positive manner.
“I want to encourage all of us in this occasion to reinforce our relationship with God and when we strengthen our relationship with God, many things change in our lives. Our attitude, our way of looking at things, our language, our approach, and how to solve issues’, he adds.
The Bishop appreciates the unity and cooperation of the people of Torit and Kapoeta State. He urges them to continue living together to develop South Sudan.
“You people have brought unity and blessings to this state. We can learn from you. The peace you have made here is because you have realized the power of living together. When you live only in your community, you only think about your tribe. But living together will makeyou learn from each other’.
Bishop Edwardo Hiboro Kusalla made the remarks at St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit on Sunday.
