Media needs to disseminate peace messages more than before, says minister

The role of media is important now than before because after the signed revitalized peace agreement, media should disseminate the information to communities, says Jonglei State Minister of Information.
 
Atong Kuol says media is the bridge between the government and the community to spread the information in various local languages.
 
Journalists should not ignore the knowledge gained from any training, but have practice it, he advises.
 
South Sudan media houses can develop according to the available sources, Kuol encourages journalists.
 
Laura Bain, Journalists for Human Rights team leader in South Sudan, advises journalists and press secretaries to be part of the positive history of the young country and continue to spread the knowledge gained.
