Islamic Relief office in Warrap town in Tonj State conducts a one day conflict mitigation dialogue to the people of Warrap under the theme ‘Peaceful society peaceful south Sudan”.
Warrap County Commissioner Lino Mayen Guet, appreciates the organisation for sensitizing the local population on the importance of peace building.
He says the program will help the civil society to extend peace message among the local community.
Meanwhile commissioner of Awul County, Chuwul Buk Alook, calls on the State and the national government to carry out massive awareness on the signed revitalized peace agreement to the people at grass root level.
A representative of Islamic Relief, Marko Akuei Mariak appeals to participants to translate the knowledge they have learnt to the community for peaceful coexistence.
The dialogue brought together ten counties commissioners of greater Tonj North, youth leaders, women groups and cattle keepers.
