He asks the Director General for Media Authority to do more capacity building for female journalists because they are known in the society about being fair.
Atong Kuol, Jonglei State Minister of Information stresses that female journalists should be brought up in media industry.
Journalists should support each other by bring more females to strengthen accurate reporting, she points out.
The minister notes that without female journalists’ support, media will not develop.
The officials spoke on Sunday during the opening of National Media Roadmap in Greater Upper Nile Region in Bor.
The training will be running for three days to improve human rights reporting and the relation between the journalists and press secretaries.
Media Authority and Journalists for Human Rights are conducting the event as a continuous for the roadmap for media symposium held last year in Juba, targeting the regions.
