Gbudue government and UNDP launches Job Fair Program in Yambio

Gbudue State government and UN Development Program or UNDP launched Job Fair program in Yambio under the theme: ‘Create livelihood for job seekers’.
 
According to Anisa Radio, the program is supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
 
Speaking during the official launch UNDP Crisis Bureau for Africa Ahunna Eziakonwa Onochie says they will put much effort to support youth.
 
She reveals that UNDP will continue to build the determination of women in Gbudue and South Sudan at large because they are mostly affected by the war.
 
Netherlands Director-General for Cooperation Riana Buijs appeals to the participants to make good use of the fair job program as an opportunity.
 
Gbudue Governor Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa explains that more than thousands of former child soldiers are in the state need livelihood.
 
He pledges that his government and partners will continue to empower them economically.
 
Some residents who spoke to Anisa Radio appreciate the program while calling upon the state government to implement only the program.
 
Senior diplomats and government officials many witnessed launch of the fair job program in Yambio which started with registration of job seekers.
 
Earlier this month state government, private sector, UN agencies and many others were looking for people to fill 150 positions and ten interns position in various areas.
