Head master vows to reform school this year

The head master of Magordit primary school in Tonj promised to improve the school system of teaching and structure this year. 
 
Malok Deng Mayen stresses that the school administration will fix some of the things the school lacks within the shortest time possible.
 
Malok says last year the school registered only 200 pupils but this year over three hundred pupils are registered and more are still coming for registration.
 
He explains that the school admits children under five years old at nursery section based on the school policy.
 
The head teacher faces challenges of lack of qualified teachers and uneducated parents who do not help children with their homework.
 
Malok appeals to parents to send their children early to school.
 
He adds that some parents take their children of over ten years’ to be admitted in primary one which is against education system.
 
The headmaster spoke to the press on Sunday in Tonj.
