The Commissioner of Luanyjang East County in Tonj State says the security situation between Luanyjang East and Southern Liech is currently calm.
Francis Aguek Madut explains that the government has put some measures in place to ensure that peace prevails in the area.
He calls on the people to continue with their normal activities.
Aguek mentions that the community members of his County are now well settled and free to move from one place to another.
The Commissioner hopes that the Governor of Tonj State will resolve any related issue of insecurity.
Aguek is confident that peace will prevail between Tonj and Liech States.
He cites challenges, including sicknesses and lack of drugs as some of the challenges facing the conflict affected communities.
Aguek requests well-wishers and international communities to intervene and support the people.
He calls on everybody to work for peace.
