The cantonment areas to be established on February 10th which will be into two phases starting with Kindlier area of Panyume in Yei River State, says the Deputy Military Spokesman of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army on Opposition.
 
Colonel Lam Paul Gabriel says Joint Defense Board instructed the Joint Military Ceasefire Commission and Joint Transitional Security Committee to go to the ground.
 
He says there will be 25 cantonments sites in eight former states except Warrap and Lakes for IO and the ten for SSPDF main barracks for phase one.
 
There is need for some forces to protect civilians while the other group will be taken to the training until they graduate, Colonel Paul adds.
 
The Deputy Military spokesman calls on international community to give South Sudanese a chance to implement the peace agreement, but not to look at it negatively.
 
The official was briefing the media on Monday on the progress on the security arrangements on revitalised peace agreement.
