Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO three-day peace building workshop for religious youth which started on Monday ended on Wednesday.
The course was under the theme: ‘Through peaceful dialogue and working together we are building a strong society’.
Voice of Hope Radio quoted CEPO Project Manager Bedgorni Stephen saying they discussed many topics including social peace in religious way.
He adds that the aim of the workshop is to end conflict and build trust among young people.
Archbishop of Episcopal Church of Wau Moses Deng Bol says the action plan made by the youth is encouraging and can help in the process of peace.
He adds that the attitude and cooperation among the youth can lead to changes in the society.
One of the young people, who attended the workshop, expresses happiness and gratitude for CEPO.
The workshop which ended on Wednesday brought together 45 youth from different religious dominations in Wau State.
