Women parliamentary Caucus of the National Legislative Assembly is visiting Yei River to establish its counterpart in the state.
Dusman Joyce James, Chairperson of the Caucus, says the aim to push issues concerning women in different sectors of development, Radio Easter reports.
The national Caucus has form 18 counterparts in the states, she discloses.
It is a privilege to ensure that women are brought into one umbrella and network with the state level, Joyce elaborates.
She urges the state government to include Women Parliamentary Caucus’ budget to help and support the body in the assembly.
The Chairperson of the Women Parliamentary Caucus made the remarks at the Yei River State Secretariat on Thursday.
