Tonj Mayor told Don Bosco Radio that the municipality began laying bricks for the construction of health care in War-Giir residential area.
Joseph Anei Mador points out that the aim of the construction is to implement the national government’s policy of taking town to people, Don Bosco Radio reports.
He adds that the plans are to facilitate delivering of services to the local people in terms of primary health care.
Anei reveals that municipality in conjunction with International Commission for Red Cross or ICRC planned to connect water system to resolve shortage of water in the town.
He promises that the municipal council will continue implementing its plans for 2019 automatically delay since the survey for connecting water system is already is done.
Anei cites technical problems as the cause of delay of the construction of water yard.
He urges civilians to be patient and have hope that the construction will finish soon since the state government is following it up.
The mayor says inflation of commodity prices in the market as a nationwide issue which cannot be resolve at the state level.
The leader spoke to Don Bosco Radio at the municipal council on Wednesday in Tonj.
