The Program Manager of Voice for Change in Yei River State is urging the community to seek immediate medical attention in case of any gender-based violence.

Clement Yope says many times gender-based violence victims tend to seek legal justice forgetting to go for treatment.

He says medical attention is always the first priority and other processes come later.

Yope discloses that the rape cases have gone high based on their sub cluster meeting especially in December.

The program manager spoke to Radio Easter during a multi-sector training for service providers.
