Security situation is relatively calm, assures commissioner

Commissioner of Manlor County of Tonj State assured the public that a horrific security situation among Warrap, Alabek and Manlor countries had currently calmed down.`
 
Paul Mangong stresses that he toured his neighboring counties of Warrap and Alabek to make general assessment on insecurity existing among cattle keepers in Toch areas.
 
He adds that the aim of touring other counties is to hand over his perpetrators who stole cattle to the authorities of Kongor and Alabek counties.
 
He cites lack of water and pasture for the cattle in his county.
 
Mangong says due to joint assessment made by the two county commissioners insecurity has reduced in the area.
 
The commissioner advises his cattle keepers not to approach criminals’ occupied areas, but to wait and protect their cattle.
 
Mangong is also calling upon the newly appointed governor of Tonj State to immediately intervene and rescue the situation.
 
He expresses worry on the economic crisis is hitting his county this year.
 
He remarked that swamp have dried up which made it too difficult to retain good economic system in the county.
