The traffic police in Western Lakes state on Wednesday cautioned Boda-Boda riders and drivers to stop when the officer on duty blows whistle.

Good News Radio quoted Assistant Director of Traffic in Western Lakes State, Awet Deng Marek on Wednesday advising road users to adhere to laws.

He justifies that says many drivers and motorcyclists in Rumbek Town think, when a traffic officer on duty blows whistle he is demanding money, which is not true.

Deng says it is their wish to see everyone driving or riding is safe on the road without committing accidents.

On Wednesday three accidents occurred in Rumbek and the traffic office reported that all happened due to over speeding.
