The director of police for special protection unit in Western lakes state on Saturday discloses that this year, there has been no report of rape cases to the authorities.
Speaking to Good News Radio Daniel Jur Marial states that no crimes of rape were reported to them since the beginning of the year.
He urges the general public not to get involved in such crime as it is punishable by law.
Jur mentions that many children are arrested of different crimes by the police but due to lack of juvenile judges, their cases are undecided.
Marial appeals to the government to bring juvenile judges in the state to solve crimes committed by minors.
Last year eighteen rape cases were reported in Western Lake state.
