The Chairperson of Committee for Information in the Transitional National Legislative Assembly of South Sudan or TNLA is urging all the parliamentarians to make effective use of the media during their recess in their different constituencies.

Paul Yoani Bonju appeals to the media outlets to engage with the members of parliament to disseminate information about the peace agreement.

He thinks the media forum can enhance cooperation between journalists and the law makers.

Yoani states that the media is a double edged sword and can be used to build communities or break them when used badly.

The official was speaking during a media forum organized by committee of information in collaboration with AMDISS under the theme ‘Media as an effective platform for parliamentarians in a peace era’ at the parliamentarian affairs hall in Juba.
