Gok State authorities return twenty raided cattle’s from Tonj

The minister of local government in Tonj state confirms to Don Bosco radio that the authorities of Gok state returned twenty heads of cattle which were raided in Manyangok raiders from Gok state.
 
Reech Thiik Reech adds that according to the report he received from the commissioner of Manyangok, the raided cattle were three hundred but the owners say they lost fifty six.
 
Thiik further adds that he also received a boy on Wednesday who was raided together with the cows.
 
The Minister mentions that he is still looking for thirty six cows which are still in Gok state.
 
He appreciates the authorities of Gok state for the harmony they show to the authorities of Tonj and urges them to bring the criminals to book.
 
Reech urges the two authorities to come up with new ideas to stop cattle raiding among the communities for peace to prevail.
 
The speaker made the remarks on Friday in Tonj during an inclusive interview with Don Bosco radio.
