UNHCR delivers supplementary food to 8,000 children and mothers in Upper Nile

UN refugees’ agency or UNHCR says it delivered supplementary feeding programme to nearly eight thousand children and mothers in Gendrassa and Doro refugee camps in Upper Nile.
 
UNHCR in it update says in collaboration with International Medical Corps, it gave Supplementary Feeding Program to 3,557 children and 4,481 pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
 
UNHCR discloses finalizing expanded nutrition survey in Ajuong Thok and Pamir refugee camps in Unity State.
 
It also finalized the 2018 standardized expanded nutrition survey with global acute malnutrition.
 
UNHCR says it with partners and the County Education Department celebrated the World Teachers’ Day on November 8 and 9, under the theme: ‘The right to education means the right to a qualified teacher’.
 
The event was marked by recognition of teachers by awarding certificates to 22 who qualified from the University of Juba at the end of 2017.
