The State Minister for Health in Tonj state confirms high rate of HIV/AID infection in Tonj East County.
Abak Yel Madot told Don Bosco Radio after touring Tonj East that forty-five HIV patients are not getting any help because there is no road access.
She promises to cooperate with the communities in controlling the virus and advises the public to avoid sharing sharp objects such as needles among others.
The minister cites shortage of drugs due to poor roads especially during the rainy season for communities to access medicines on time.
The official made the remarks upon her arrival from Tonj East County on Tuesday.
