The state Minister of education in Tonj state reveals that 1339 Primary Eight candidates sat for their Primary Leaving Examinations in Tonj.
Bol Agei Bol says the exam is to show the capacity of the students after eight years effort.
Don Bosco Radio quoted the Minister advising pupils to work hard to avoid discouraging parents for their tireless effort to educate them.
Bol assured the pupils of maximum security throughout the examination period.
The official made the remarks while addressing the Pupils before starting their exams on Monday
