Commissioner Kamal Anur Heidan said the issue of Heiban geographical constituencies was solved after some objections were dealt with.
Early this month, Younan Albarut, Heiban County SPLM Chairman, in Southern Kordofan, reported to Voice of Peace Radio that the county disserved three constituencies, but the Electoral Commission combined the constituency of Lazrack administrative unit with Delami County.Mr. Anur said the correction was done and Lazrack is standing as a constituency of itself, as it was demanded by the Heiban County officials.
He added that there is still work to be done concerning geographical constituencies in other counties in Sothern Kordofan State.
The legislative elections are scheduled for next April.
