The governor of Gok State conveys his condolences to the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek and the family of Fr Victor Luke Odhiambo, killed in Cuei-bet last Thursday.
Madhang Majok Meen in an interview with Good news radio describes the killing of the priest as a criminal and intensitional act.
He reveals that some culprits are already in custody and the state government is tracing the rest for all to face law in the court of law.
Majok says the death of Fr Victor Luke is a great loss to Gok State and the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek as he was promoting human development through education.
Sister to the late priest, Mariana John Odhiambo, paid tribute to her brother for the good life he dedicated to God in serving his people and conveys the condolences from the parents and relatives to the Diocese of Rumbek.
She urges the Christians to have courage and be strong in faith during this difficult moment.
