Local leaders from greater Torit counties have attended three days training on security and peace building to combat insecurity cases in the state.
The event organized by safer world is a refresher exercise for leaders in grass root to continue engaging the population on the importance of peace among the communities.
Joseph Maring Garmaco says the training targets influential leaders in Payam and Bomas.
He says it will help authorities to monitor and report issues on community security and peace in various villages.
Maring encourages participants to commit themselves in the training and disseminate peace messages to local population.
