A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Tambura-Yambio is calling on Christians to take Bible as the only weapon to fight the great enemy who is the devil.
Fr Andrew Mbuniwia says it is very important for Christians to know their purpose and mission of being in the world, Anisa Radio reports.
He adds that the major purpose is to know God, love Him and rejoice within heaven at the last moment.
The priest calls on Christian not to fear death to the extent of losing hope in the life to come, but prefer death to save their souls.
He was preaching at the funeral of one of the choir members, Coletta Nunu Andrew who passed away over November 8, at age of 26.
Late Nunu was born in 1992 and joined St Monica at age of seven in St Josephine Bakhita Parish.
She was later taken to choir group and won the first position of choir mistress
The late also worked as Parish information officer reporting to Anisa Radio church activities.
She passed.
