Anika Women’s Association is making plans and activities to change the lives of all women in Gbudue State by training women on quality hand work activities that can change their lives.

Executive Director of the Association, Yaban Emilia says, currently they are training women in different fields, who are now producing liquid soap, laundry and bathing soap.

Emilia says tailoring of quality African dresses, setting fashion trends and marketing of the products are among the sessions of the training.

She adds that the training targets women from all walks of life despite their educational levels.

However the women’s leader cites family issues and other commitments affecting the group hence lowering performance and missing out on important lessons.

Anika Women Association was formed in 2016 in Yambio and is supported by World Vision and UN Women

The speaker made the remarks on Tuesday in an interview with Anisa FM Radio in Yambio.
