Head Teacher of Torit Day Secondary School is urging parents to make sure their children go to school on time

Speaking to Radio Emmanuel Valery Afara says students in the state operate as day scholars and parents or guardians are responsible to ensure their children attend classes every morning.

Afara states school administrators in Torit have done their part by telling students to come to school early.

He explains only few parents take the responsibility of following their children to school.

The head teacher urges the community to take responsibility in sending children to school when found loitering in market areas.

According to the head teacher, some students stick around market places during classes in order to dodge school punishments.

He adds that, the school rule expects all students to report to school by eight in the morning.
