South Sudan will host peace talks in Juba next week for the Sudanese government and all its opposition including Darfur armed groups, says Presidential Advisor.

Tut Kew Gatluak on Monday told the press that President Salva Kiir invited all armed opposition groups in Blue Nile, South Kordofan and Darfur to participate in the negotiations.

He said Kiir would play an equal role in the negotiations as President Omer Bashir did for South Sudan in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.

Sudanese ruling party spokesman Ibrahim Al-Sadiq on Sunday said they for the first time accepted President Kiir to mediate their peace talks with South Kordofan and Blue Nile.
