Governor applauds Catholic Church for providing health services

The Governor of Nuba Mountains praises Catholic Church for providing health and educational services to citizens in the region.

 
Speaking during the tenth anniversary of Mother of Mercy Hospital on Saturday, Anur Saleh, hailed Emeritus Bishop Macram Max Gassis for setting up health facility to serve the population, Voice of Peace Radio reports.
 
Saleh calls on Mother of Mercy Hospital staff, local government and community members to support Dr Tom Catena, who is the medical director to continue serving the needy.
 
The governor advised the staff to work hard so as to gain practical skills from Dr Catena for the benefit of Nuba generation.
 
Mother of Mercy Hospital has more than 200 staff, including six clinical officers, auxiliary nurses, cleaners and security guards among others.
