Sts Peter and Paul Parish of Gidel in the Catholic Diocese of El-Obeid commemorated on Friday evening the feast of All Souls.
Speaking to the faithful, Fr James William Silgat says through the prayers God will take into heaven the souls of those who were still in purgatory, Voice of Peace Radio reports.
Fr William preaches that life in God begins when Christians believe in Jesus Christ and all people will die in order to go to heaven.
He explains that those who do good things will rise to eternal life with Heavenly Father while those who sin will go to the eternal judgment.
The Parish Priest advises fellow Christians to do good things on earth in order to enter the kingdom of heaven when they die.
