The Chairperson of the IGAD Council of Ministers, Workneh Gebeyehu appointed the current Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission or JMEC Deputy Chairperson, Ambassador Augostino S.K Njoroge to continue to continue in his position and act as the Chairperson of the JMEC.
The Secretariat of JMEC broke the news in press statement CRN got issued on Friday.
JMEC was informing the Parties to the Revitalized Agreement other South Sudanese stakeholders, the regional and international community and the public at large.
The statement says Ambassador Njoroge will act until IGAD Assembly of Heads of State and Government appoint a new chairperson.
