Torit State celebrates Revitalized Agreement Friday

Torit State government says citizens are celebrating the revitalized peace agreement on Friday at the Freedom Square.
 
Speaking to Radio Emmanuel on Thursday, Minister of Information Margret Idwa Okuye says the day is chosen according to the directives from Torit governor who attended the same celebration in Juba.
 
She says all the thirty-two states’ governors are in Juba to pick the first hand information from the top leaders to deliver to the grassroots.
 
Minister Idwa invites peace lovers to attend the celebration day in a good number as the state will be marking the occasion on November 2.
 
Mulindu Isaac, a business person selling hardwires at Torit-Juba road market, says South Sudan conflicts have ruined the economic situation of the country.
 
He calls on citizens to have hope peace for improved economy.
 
According to Isaac peace is the only solution to South Sudan crisis.
 
He calls on South Sudan leaders to commit to the recently signed revitalized agreement.
 
On Wednesday the heads of governments of the neighboring countries joined South Sudan to celebrate the revitalized agreement signed in Addis Ababa Ethiopia on the 12th September 2018.
 
The SPLA-IO leader Dr Riak Machar and good number of opposition leaders attended the celebration at Dr John Garang mausoleum.
