A civil society activist is urging all the political parties that signed the revitalized peace agreement last month to implement it.
Rajab Mohandis Executive Director for Organization Responsive Governance advises the parties to convince the other parties who did not sign to end the conflict in the country
He points out that ‘this is the moment for commitment to the maintenance of the agreement through forgiveness and reconciliation, stability in the country and to delivery of services to returnees and IDPs’.
Mohandis reveals that in accordance with the pre-transitional period the parties will have to end violence, hate speech, and other forms of violations.
The executive director discloses that his participation together with other civil society groups in Addis Ababa was to present the citizens’ agenda during the negotiations.
The speaker made the statement during Evening Drive Show on Anisa Radio last week.
