An administrator of Hope and Resurrection Secondary school in Atiaba is urging the government of Western lakes state to provide security along Rumbek Yirol road between Akot and Aluakluak
Deborah Awut Mayom says, they are almost closing down the school due to cases of insecurity in the area.
She says the situation is worsening, one of the students was killed in September and another primary was shut down due in the area.
Awut feels her school will be the next if the government does not respond quickly.
The administrator calls on authorities in charge of protection in Rumbek to urgently deploy security personnel in the area.
Last week two university students were shot dead along Rumbek Yirol road and four other civilians killed separately between Paloch and Karic by unknown gunmen.
Another incident includes a fourteen year old girl kidnapped in Tit Agok by unidentified men.
