Although the area is peaceful, health centers still remains a challenge, making it difficult to respond on urgent human wellbeing concerns, she complains.

‘Opened space for us in Moruari actually we don’t have we are just staying now under this tree and this is our open space in Moruari here, we are giving you thanks and you should also here our pledges, health care for us here in Moruari B quarter council we are staying in peace, but we don’t have primary health care to sometimes making it hard to help someone in need of first aid one cannot reach quickly to the hospital for help and if there is a primary health center it will help with this am giving you small request to note’, the Sub-chief notes.

Ading says her area is currently hosting above five thousand and eight hundred people with more than seven hundred households.

She explains that her community in collaboration with the state governments working to ensure tolerant peace and development is attain in the area.

‘For us here we are maintaining progressive peace and development without you we shall not process together, the blocks or state or country of South Sudan under development our exact number of population of Moruari B quarter council is over 5807 where household is 765, our returnees are 68 in number this is our population in Morwari’, she explains.

While the Mayor of Torit Juliana Momoi Choho speaking in Arabic says some parts of Moruari B is not demarcated, that makes it impossible to create opened spaces.

She says issues of opened spaces in un-demarcated residential areas need time as the government is developing plans to address issues of un-surveyed land.

‘Earlier on I have heard issues of Moruari now as I have told you I will only note few things you people are talking on open space for children, a place for children to play in, I want to tell you that this place of Moruari is divided there is a demarcated place and there is a place which is not demarcated like Odikolong and during this crisis there are people who have entered in other places and this is not what we can discuss here, this is an issue which needs time for people sit down as  Government to discuss on issue of Moruari’, Momoi notes.

Some of the challenges facing communities in Moruari include insufficient water sources and market centers among others.

Moruari B Quarter Council has registered about six people who were killed by unknown gun men while in their gardens.

The Council requests the state government to deploy soldiers to work together with the police community relation committee to end unnecessary killing of people.
