Parliament endorses signed peace agreement

The Lawmakers of National Parliament and the Council of States are on Monday unanimously passed the peace agreement signed on September 12 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia after its third phase in Khartoum, Sudan.
 
Speaker of the Parliament, Anthony Lino Makana, describes the passing of the deal as a great achievement and shows that the MPs of the two Houses are for peace.
 
He congratulates the government negotiating team and all parties for reaching peace agreement.
 
The speaker appreciates President Salva Kiir for making compromises to gain peace in the country.
 
Minister of Justice Paulino Wanawila Unango presented the Revitalized Peace Agreement on the Resolution of Conflict in South Sudan.
