SPLM-N pays last tribute to National Liberation Council Chairman

The SPLM-N paid last tribute to the departed chairman of the National Liberation Council, Tijani Temma El-Jamri, on Sunday.
 
He Temma passed away on last Thursday in German Emergency Doctors’ Hospital in Luwere, Nuba Mountains after short illness.
 
Speaking to the gathering at the house of the late in Kauda town on Sunday evening, SPLM-North Deputy Chairman Jagod Mukwar Marad, described Temma as a great leader who fought tirelessly to liberate the entire people of Nuba.
 
He added that the departed leader was not only for the people of Nuba, but for the entire marginalized Sudanese people.
 
Acting Chairlady of the National Liberation Council, Howa Mundu Ismail, acknowledges the great deeds done by the deceased in support of the SPLM-North.
 
She adds that the late comrade was a great teacher who achieved the goal of the movement in the struggle for liberation.
 
Nuba Mountains’ Governor, Anur Saleh, describes Tijani Temma as a courageous and a trustworthy leader.
 
He adds that the late has had good quality in leadership which will continue to live in his absence.
 
The governor says the late fought corruption and tribalism in order to keep the unity of Nuba people.
 
He also mentions that he has fought for a change.
 
The governor advises fellow citizens to follow the footsteps of the late hero in order to achieve the vision of the New Sudan.
 
Late Tijani Temma El-Jamri was born in 1953 in Kauda in a small village called Tittere, currently known as Jebaddi and died on October 11, 2018.
 
He left behind one wife, one boy and three girls.
