Delay of teachers’ salaries affects teaching in Tonj Secondary School, confirms Acting Deputy Director.
AliirKuol Mathok points out that delay of salaries for teachers forced them to abandon their profession, Don Bosco radio reports.
He adds that since April they never receive the salaries making it difficult to restrict teachers in learning institution.
The director also discloses that low enrollment of students in the school has caused financial problem.
Johnny Mawut a students in Tonj Secondary says teaching was effective in first and second terms, but now it has come down.
He adds that they try to talk with the administration, but no improvement is seen.
The learner urges the government and NGOs concerned to support the school.
