Minister acknowledges improvement in health situation in Tombura State Hospital after receiving three additional doctors from the national government.
David Paulino Sinzi, State Minister of Health says lack of staff in the past made it difficult for services to be carried out, Anisa Radio reports.
He reveals that only two doctors were operating in the hospital before, but early this month another three were recommended to join them.
Paulino says currently the situation has improved gradually with only few cases of malaria and skin diseases reported.
The minister urges the public to cooperate with doctors in the hospital for their safety.
Director of the Hospital Dr Dobule Katchek confirms receiving respiratory infections, diarrhea among children and increase in Hepatitis B among adults.
He says the risk of giving birth has reduced at the Maternity Ward.
